Omnipage Professional令人赞叹的OCR软件 把手机、DC变成扫描仪

我知道在这个博客上每写一篇技术文章，就会损失至少100个读者。即便如此，我也要写。

在现世代，技术就是诗篇，程序员已经取代了游吟诗人的地位，正像博客取代了古往今来的说书人一样。

当物理学家讨论公式，他们不说：“瞧瞧，它有多复杂。”他们会说：“瞧瞧，它有多丑。”

美无处不在，不仅存在于纳兰性德的诗词里，德博顿的散文里，村上春树的小说里，当然也存在于一个完美的软件里。就像今天我要介绍的这一款omnipage professional一样。

为了展开我的《报道越南》翻译计划，我需要做软硬件的准备。由于我拿到的原书是纸质书，无论是查词，还是与人交流，都不方便。我需要一款扫描识别软件，专业术语叫OCR软件。

omnipage professional 就是一款久负盛名的OCR软件，它的识别率高于99%，当然它的售价也令人咋舌，$499一套。

当然生活在中国，不会为软件的价格发愁，只要肯搜，面包会有的，面包房也会有的。

且说这款软件下载安装完毕，万事齐备只欠扫描仪，正想着明天从家里扛过来，无意间看到这款软件的介绍，它竟然支持数码相机拍照识别。我立即心有灵犀，决定用iphone3gs试试。虽然手机自带摄像头的分辨率只有300万像素，我觉得，如果这软件真有所吹的那么神的话，正确识别率应该也在75%左右。

一不做，二不休。我先用iphone拍了一页书。

然后导入到omnipage professional之中，神奇的事情发生了，只需按一个键，它就自动转换成了文本文件。

撷取一段识别后的第一段文字，只有一个单词（for识别成了fir）出错。
